An antique bar broochA very pretty Edwardian bar brooch containing an oval aquamarine centre stone 9x7mm in a mille grain setting. The openwork design has wing shapes to each side of the centre stone. Within this are set a total of fourteen 2mm seed pearls. Brooch width in 50mm, height at the widest is 10mm, weight 3. 8grams. No hallmarks were required for this period. Testing as 9 carat gold. A safety chain is added for extra security.
